The FSS is responsible for developing and establishing relationships with end users and distribution and generating end user demand primarily in General Industry and Motor Vehicle Industry. This business typically requires a very hands-on approach to meet the customer demands and best local competition. The FSS will have responsibility for the Cleco branded tools, with primary focus on the cordless platform.The successful candidate must be resourceful and self-confident with a stress-tolerant, flexible and resilient attitude. The role requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to easily build credibility to influence and drive approval from stakeholders at various levels. Successful associates will have potential career growth opportunities further in sales and marketing.Key Responsibilities:Ownership and development of a geographic territoryBuild strong relationships with the end user and distribution partnersDevelop expertise to conduct technical sales presentations & demonstrationsPresent to key end user decision makers with new application solution recommendationsWork collaboratively with Cleco Sales Managers and Application Specialists on joint sales activitiesParticipate in end user shows and activitiesCommunicate progress and updates via emails, customer planning documents, sales documents and reporting as neededManage daily schedule as well as longer term planning and scheduling for key customers and projectsUse CRM system to track all activities and major projects and communicate updates on a weekly basisSolve problems utilizing resources, peers and management at an appropriate levelPerform other duties as assignedCritical Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree preferred, 2 or 4 year technical considered2 to 5+ years sales or marketing experienceAbility to become proficient in MS Office and CRM platformAbility to excel in a team environmentMust demonstrate self-motivation at a high level of independenceValid driver’s license with clean driving historyAbility to travel throughout territory 75% of the timeFluent in EnglishPlease apply with an English CVAt Apex Tool Group (www.apextoolgroup.com), we’re passionate about innovation.
