We are looking for a Business Development Manager in Europe.
Role description and responsibilities
Analyze the market to uncover opportunities and promote engineering and construction services for current and potential new clients across industries in Europe. Examples include:
Conceptualization: Developing initial project assessments to outline scope and requirements (e.g., FEED, Pre-FEED)
Execution: Overseeing project implementation in EPC to ensure project adherence to specifications and timelines (e.g., EPmCm, Owner’s eng.)
Asset management: Managing and optimizing operational assets throughout the asset’s lifecycle (e.g., CO2 emissions management)
Define TR's value proposition for engineering and construction services in the region.
Engage with clients and maintain corporate relationships with key clients.
Develop connections with key licensors/OEMs and maintain corporate relationships.
Seek out potential partners that complement TR's capabilities and assist in market positioning.
Establish TR’s positioning, define the strategy, and support the bidding process, coordinating with the regional Directors, other BDMs who provide complementary value (regional knowledge, service knowledge) and with the Proposals’ Directors.
Report all commercial activities, from opportunity identification to contracting, through Salesforce.
Background and experience
+10 years of relevant experience.
Proven track record as a commercial manager with deep technical expertise in the engineering and construction services industry.
Comprehensive knowledge of the energy industry, with a keen understanding of market drivers, trends and players in Europe.
Strong commercial acumen with exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of building strong and durable client relationships.
Deep commercial network within the energy industry, particularly in Europe.
Highly strategic and analytical thinking.
Passion and understanding of the importance that specific technologies have in accelerating the energy transition.
Availability for frequent travel, mostly within Europe.
Education: Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university in business and/or industrial/mechanical engineering or chemistry. Relevant experience would be accepted in-lieu of required education.
