Business Development Manager - Target Markets Medical and SMART Infrastructure Our client, a leading international specialist in industrial components, is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth across Spain. This is a high-impact role for a commercial leader who thrives on building relationships, opening new markets, and delivering sustainable profitability across multiple territories. What You'll Do Drive Growth & Market Expansion Develop and execute regional growth strategies to increase revenue and market share Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across Spanish and European markets Build and convert a robust pipeline of high-value prospects Own Customer Relationships Cultivate long-term partnerships with key accounts and decision-makers Conduct quarterly business reviews to uncover growth opportunities Act as a trusted advisor, delivering tailored solutions that drive customer success Lead contract negotiations and manage pricing strategies to optimise margins Cross-sell product portfolio and communicate the value proposition effectively Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, and Operations to ensure seamless delivery Analyse competitor activity and market trends to inform strategy Feed customer insights into product development and innovation initiatives What You Bring 5+ years in business development or sales within fasteners, manufacturing, or engineering sectors Sales experience selling into the Medical or SMART Infrastructure markets Proven track record of exceeding targets and closing complex B2B deals Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills Strategic mindset with the ability to analyse data and develop market-specific approaches Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (D365 experience advantageous) Full clean driving license and willingness to travel extensively across Europe Fluent English (written and spoken) Highly Desirable Cross-border commercial experience and cultural adaptability Technical understanding of fasteners or industrial components MBA or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering Why This Role? ✅ Strategic Impact – Shape growth across multiple European markets ✅ Autonomy – Operate independently with senior-level collaboration ✅ Industry Leader – Join a globally recognised specialist with a strong value proposition ✅ Career Development – Work alongside senior stakeholders, including Finance Directors and Engineering Innovation teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
