We are looking for a

Technical Sales Manager Food Ingredients

You will sell Food Ingredients to the Food Industry in Spain. The position will be office-based in Madrid, with the possibility of 1 day per week home office. Our client is an international Ingredients distributor.

The job holder primarily oversees the expansion of business with existing customers, as well as the identification and exploration of new markets and customers in the food market in Spain.

Tasks
  • Knowledge of industrial food customers in Spain.
  • Technical and commercial knowledge of cereals in all their forms (grains, flours, flakes) will be an asset.
  • Customer & supplier relationship management: Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Portfolio management: Identifying opportunities in the portfolio and supplementing missing product/solution offerings.
  • Market / Competition: Conduct in-depth market analyses to understand supplier & customer needs, assess competitive landscapes, and identify new opportunities. Act as Product Manager for various product ranges and/or suppliers, taking responsibility for the relationship and purchases with them.
Requirements
  • Degree in Food Technology/Food Chemistry Must have
  • Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development
  • Exceptionally good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • High willingness to travel
  • Very organized, reliable, positive thinking
  • Very good knowledge of Spanish and English (fluent in spoken and written) Must have
  • You have a valid driving license Must have
