Do what you love, care for the world, dare to challenge the status quoJob DescriptionCoordinate Sales operations with the other departments of the organization.Develop and/or maintain and improve business relations with all customers of the organization.Ensure maintenance of customer database.Responsible for targeting new customers and new sales opportunities, initiate action plan to approach and secure new business for the organization.Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing in the development of the Strategic Sales Plan for the organization.Conduct negotiations to achieve the best profit and rates for the Hotel.Attend hotel clients and local community business events to network and maintain high visibility.Update Director of Sales & Marketing on market trends and business leads.Coordinate all activities to maintain and increase business volume. This includes advertising, sales promotions, personal selling, publicity, community relations, special sales projects, employee training and guest relations.Identify new business by generating new leads.Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing to prepare Annual Sales goals, develop working plans to carry out goals, compare actual achievements against goals and hence take necessary corrective action.Meet or exceed agreed sales targets.Review internal promotion material on a regular basis to ensure that they are consistent with standards set by the Management.Work closely with the Assistant Manager Public Relations to improve relations between the Organization and the society at large to obtain maximum media coverage of activities within the premises which are of interest locally and internationally.Maintain a productive and professional relationship with all clients.Submit monthly and weekly sales plan and market analysis (monthly) as well as daily sales/activity reports.Maintain close contacts within the neighboring hospitality sectors, with airlines, travel agencies, commercial houses, private clubs, professional associates, etc., to capture business.Develop and promote organization’s image and awareness by direct mail campaigns.Handle additional responsibilities as and when delegated by the Management.
