Corporate Communications and Marketing Coordinator Pay CompetitiveEmployment type: Full-TimeJob Description Req#: 30491We are looking for an experienced and passionate communications expert for MAHLE in Spain to manage communication at our locations in the country. Based in Valencia, the candidate will be responsible for external and internal communication. Reporting into the Director of Communications and Marketing, within the experienced Communications and Marketing team at MAHLE headquarters in Stuttgart (Germany), the candidate will be supported both locally and internationally, by a professional, positive team.Your Role & Responsibilities Implement the MAHLE communication strategy, continuing to position the brand as a leading technology and development partner in the automotive industry and an attractive employer.Seek out newsworthy angles from across the business, working with key stakeholders in the organization to share with media and/or on internal channels (local intranet and at group level).Be the voice of authority for communications across the business, sharing insights and expertise to help the business grow.Establish formats for internal communication and steer daily communication activities at all MAHLE locations in Spain, improving the use of internal communication channels (intranet, MAHLE APP, etc.).Research and prepare communication-relevant topics in the areas of business, product and technology as well as change and crisis communication.Develop, implement and manage PR campaigns.Research, write and edit texts, interviews, and articles for external use and for the MAHLE content hub.Provide strategic advice for the board and executives on communication.Advise on and support media interviews with specialists and executives.Manage all press office duties including responding in a timely manner to incoming media requests, monitoring all coverage, and managing the press list.Implement internal and external events (such as town halls, media events).Manage external agencies and service providers (such as event agencies, PR agencies).Develop and improve Corporate Social Responsibility activities (identify local activities and engagements).Work closely with the HR Marketing team to support corporate campaigns (Diversity, Women’s Day, etc.) on the communications side.Your Skills & Strengths An experienced PR/communications professional with at least 5 years of experience in agency or in-house.Strong understanding of the automotive industry, with proven ability to place stories and communicate with relevant target audiences, both B2B and B2C.A team player and networker.Proven experience in managing a diverse and busy communications strategy, implementing creative media and public relations campaigns that drive brand awareness and equity, while also monitoring and reporting on successes.Proven experience in securing A-list coverage across consumer and trade media (both traditional and digital).Experience in Social Media and managing internal communication channels.Experience managing PR agencies preferable but not essential.Excellent Spanish writing skills, including an eye for a strong headline.Very good English language skills.Portuguese speaker would be advantageous, but not critical.In addition to working in a great team, we encourage you to reach your personal potential through outstanding learning and development opportunities.
