**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- You will be part of Plug and Play’s EMEA Events and Operations Team. This small and effective 4-person team supports our client-facing events in all 26 EMEA locations (including launching new locations)
- You will be based in our EMEA headquarters in Valencia, Spain.
- You might travel occasionally to our offices across the EMEA region.
**HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE**
As we live the startup spirit ourselves, no one in the team is exclusively limited to their main tasks. Rather, we are a dynamic team of all-rounders who work closely together on all projects. However, your main role will be in supporting our team with the following tasks:
**Support the organization of Plug and Play’s presence at Tech Conferences in the EMEA region.**You will support our EMEA Events and Operations team in their day-to-day work both in administrational and operational tasks:
- Evaluate constantly Tech Conferences in the EMEA region regarding Plug and Play’s participation
- Coordinate with our teams across the EMEA region regarding their participation and their level of involvement (speaking engagement, exposition booth, side events, etc.)
- Run post-event evaluations
**Support our local teams across the EMEA region with the organization of major client-facing events**(such as EXPOs, Selection Days, and New Location Launch Events). You will support our EMEA Events and Operations team in their day-to-day work both in administrational and operational tasks:
- Track upcoming Plug and Play events in the EMEA region and the To Do’s related to these events
- Provide our local teams across the EMEA region with event management tools (meeting scheduling, checklists, event management sheets, survey templates, etc.)
- Support our local teams across the EMEA regions with event materials (flyers, brochures, presentations, swag) in collaboration with our Plug and Play Marketing Team
- Occasionally research vendors (venues, catering, AV providers, decorators, etc.)
- Proactively schedule, develop, update, and enhance the communications within our program managers across our EMEA locations.
**Support the organization of major employee-facing events (such as the yearly EMEA All Hands).**You will support on the day-to-day work both in administrational and operational tasks:
- Research vendors (venues, catering, AV providers, decorators, etc.)
- Help coordinate internal and external speakers
- Support in invitation management and attendee communication
**Contributing actively to quality assurance and reporting of our events**
- Support in expanding our internal knowledge base
- Support in automating internal team processes.
- Support in expanding event management tools guides
- Support in creating events reports
**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE**
- Education: You hold a Bachelor’s or higher degree - ideally in events management, business administration, communications, marketing or similar fields.
- Work Experience: You have 2+ years of experience in event management, project management, and/or marketing & communications.
- Passion: You have a passion for entrepreneurship and innovation. You love working with open-minded people from diverse backgrounds and you thrive in an international and dynamic environment. You are highly motivated and you have a positive mindset.
- Communication skills: You have excellent communication skills and people skills.
- Language skills: You are fluent in English (verbal & written)
- Project Management: You have the ability to manage several tasks & projects at once providing excellent results with mínimal supervision. You thrive when juggling multiple projects and tasks at the same time.
- Time & Self-Management: You are able to work in a fast-paced environment and you have outstanding organization and multi-tasking skills.
