The Alpega Group is looking for a Sales Representative for the Dutch market. This role will be part of the sales organization based in Barcelona, Spain.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sales Representative will be responsible for the acquisition of new customers for our Freight Exchange in Netherlands.

  1. You will be working in the Benelux and DACH team, but your role will be as an individual contributor to the success of the company.
  2. On a daily basis, you will target the SMB companies of the logistics and transportation industry, combining work on inbound leads as well as prospecting targets (incl. cold calling).
  3. Your target will be the number of new clients that you bring or acquire and the revenue that they generate.
  4. You will be working closely with your team leader, other sales representatives, customer success, account managers, sales operations, and marketing.
  5. Full sales cycle from first interaction to signature of the deal.
  6. Using Salesforce as CRM plus a variety of communication channels.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU

  1. At least 1 year of experience working in B2B sales (service or software oriented ideally).
  2. You will need to have a native level of Dutch and a fluent level of English.
  3. Experience cold calling, prospecting, and closing deals.
  4. Solution oriented and international mindset.
  5. Speaking French is ideal but NOT mandatory.
  6. A bachelor's degree (or proven professional experience).
  7. Experience with Salesforce (ideal but not mandatory).
  8. You will need to be tech-savvy at a user level.
