So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.About the job…The Hygienic Fluid Handling Business Unit is crucial for the growth strategy of Alfa Laval Iberica.Alfa Laval Iberica wants to recruit a Sales Engineer for Prepared Food, Beverage, Dairy, and Pharma applications, in the Food & Water Division (Spain). S/he will be responsible for:Developing this business by finding new opportunities in new customers and integrators. S/he must build loyal relationships and sell our products through integrators and system builders.Creating awareness about the value of our products among end customers.Boosting opportunities for other BUs in the same market (Cross selling).The critical part of the job will be to perform the following aspects:Analyze and understand market insights and customer buying behavior and make sales plans according to the business unit strategy.Identify key factors to open doors with new customers.Manage leads from the market and customers and convert them into real business opportunities to ensure the pipeline.Be active in the market and focus on making visits, meetings, and interactions with customers, with a multichannel perspective, focusing on partners and understanding customer needs while highlighting the value of our products and services.Who you are…?A dynamic, structured, and proactive person who genuinely enjoys generating outstanding customer experiences through value selling based on customer needs.A person with genuine curiosity for business development, looking for new opportunities in the market based on deep market and data analysis.A challenging person with a digital mindset, good customer needs understanding, focused not only on selling products but also on creating value in the customer process.A person with good communication skills, energy, passion, drive, and a team player.Job requirements...Industrial Engineering degree (preferred) or similar.Experience in the Food or Pharma market is valued.Strong commercial orientation with, preferably, at least 5 years of experience in technical sales.Fluid handling/heat exchanger technology knowledge is valued.Spanish and English speaker.Resident in the Madrid area.The position is in our offices in Alcobendas.High availability to travel within Spain.
