Postdoctoral Researcher – Bioengineering / Biophysics – Patient‑Derived Organoids for Personalized Medicine 2 days ago – Be among the first 25 applicants. The role is part of the Complementary Plan for Biotechnology in Catalonia, co‑funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation and the Generalitat de Catalunya. Responsibilities Lead the development of biomaterials for organoid culture and the evaluation of organoids by hyperpolarisation nuclear magnetic resonance (HP‑MR). Develop HP‑MR hardware and software to optimize long‑term organoid metabolism assessment. Generate a collection of patient‑derived organoids that recapitulate the different stages and heterogeneity of NAFLD. Develop non‑invasive real‑time assessment strategies of drug response using HP‑MR. Validate the organoid platform for drug testing. Essential Qualifications PhD in physics, chemistry, bioengineering, or a related discipline. Experience in experimental techniques (preferably in biomechanics and micro‑copying) and data analysis with specialised software such as Matlab, R, or Python. Strong communication, teamwork, commitment, proactivity, integrity, and critical/analytical thinking skills. High level of English. Advantageous Qualifications Experience in nuclear magnetic resonance. Experience in manipulation of biomaterials (hydrogels). Offer Position: 1 post‑doctoral researcher. Starting date: between 1 April and 16 June. Contract: full‑time 18‑month contract. Attractive salary.
