Senior Researcher – Biomaterials for Regenerative Therapies Position: Senior Researcher at the Biomaterials for Regenerative Therapies Research Group (Sr_Ee) – Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC). Introduction The Biomaterials for Regenerative Therapies Group is looking for a Senior Researcher to develop a project on the design and fabrication of novel scaffolds based on extracellular matrices for tissue engineering applications. Main Tasks and Responsibilities Biomaterials design, fabrication and characterization. Perform biological assays: in vitro and in vivo. Establish primary cultures. Develop and characterize 3D tissue models. Requirements Ph.D. with postdoctoral experience in regeneration, with a focus on angiogenesis and extracellular matrices. At least six years since the date of obtaining the doctorate (doctorate‑thesis defense). Experience with scientific publications, patents, conference presentations, and other research outputs. Management of doctoral and master theses. Recognition awards, mentions, distinctions, and dissemination activities. Multidisciplinary background (Biomedical engineer / Biotechnologist) and/or knowledge of regenerative medicine, especially matrix development, is a plus. Strong communication, teamwork, proactivity, integrity, critical and analytical thinking. High level of English. Advantageous Experience in technology
