The Speed Program Team drives SD network programs with cost‑optimal, speed‑ and quality‑aware solutions for in‑station operations, year‑round, enabling the business to scale for seasonal peak demand increases. We are now looking to hire a passionate, dynamic, analytical, innovative, hands‑on and customer‑obsessed candidate to support network optimization. The Speed Programs Analyst acts as the lead on driving network performance (quality, speed and cost) through projects and network initiatives, and will form a business partnership with first and middle‑mile stakeholders and operational AMZL Teams. You will play a key role in developing and deploying network speed initiatives, delivering our vision to improve customer order cut‑offs and driving great customer experience, as well as in our cost‑out activities and asset utilization. A significant proportion of the role will be identifying and implementing design and process solutions that increase the reliability and consistent delivery of end‑to‑end performance, removing defects from the pipeline and delivering corresponding improvement. The role will own the approval from senior functional leaders to enable strategies to improve performance and schedule cross‑functional resource allocation efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with our Transportation functions and will be a natural self‑starter who is comfortable supporting complex cross‑functional projects and action plans. You will have a true hands‑on approach, the ability to generate solutions, strong process management skills, and be an effective communicator. This position involves regular communication with senior management on network performance, risks and time‑critical mitigation activities. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Experience building measures and metrics, and developing reporting solutions Experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent Experience working cross‑functionally across several teams Knowledge of Excel at an advanced level Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree Knowledge of presentations and whiteboarding skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, and developers Experience in managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
