Commercial Sales Director for Middle East and North Africa

Ampacimon Belgium is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Sales Director to lead our business development efforts in the Middle East and North Africa region. As a seasoned sales professional, you will be responsible for driving growth and closing deals with key electricity transmission and distribution utilities.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of Ampacimon's PD (Partial Discharge) detection and localization solution. You will be working closely with our Key Account Manager to upsell our solution to existing customers and expand into new markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a business development plan to drive growth and close deals with key customers;
  • Support and coach the Key Account Manager to upsell our solution to existing customers;
  • Perform market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities;
  • Maintain relationships with customers to develop a strong reference base and retain business;
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in the power transmission and distribution industry that may impact our positioning in the marketplace.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience selling technically complex solutions to the electricity sector;
  • Demonstrated ability to build commercial successes from scratch and create new market opportunities;
  • Strong knowledge of the electricity sector and its regulatory requirements;
  • Executive communication skills to project the Ampacimon brand effectively;
  • Ability to interact at high-level with customers and partners;
  • Tenacity and positive attitude to handle rejections and persistence to close deals.
