Job Requirements:
The school is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed full-time Primary school Spanish teacher. The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge and good classroom skills with a desire to engage and motivate pupils using effective methods of teaching, embracing the use of interactive teaching methods and ICT. We are looking for a well-qualified, enthusiastic and experienced professional, who is committed to achieving the very best for pupils at all levels. Any candidate should be willing to play an active role in the co-curricular life of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will have a Grado en Magisterio en Educación Primaria from a Spanish University, Spanish nationality, and a very good level of English (C1 or equivalent). Recent experience as a Lengua/Spanish teacher in either the Spanish or British system or both is required. The ability to use a range of learning strategies to cater for the needs of every student, high expectations of pupils' effort and behaviour, and strong team player skills willing to collaborate with other colleagues and to share planning and resources are essential. Be motivated and show initiative to contribute to the success of the department and the wider life of the school. Previous experience of an international school is preferable but not essential.
