The role of Senior Sales Engineer - Project Development at Emerson involves being the primary sales point of contact with assigned customers, providing pre- and post-sales support, and driving the account strategy. This position requires collaborating with subject matter experts and industry leaders to understand customer needs and align Emerson's offerings to address them.

In this role, you will:

  • Actively promote and sell business, including products, solutions, and services.
  • Identify and qualify strategic project opportunities in all project phases.
  • Develop project pursuit strategies and teams to maximize chances of success.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about technologies and products.
  • Participate in customer development activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and related teams.
  • Qualify other products and solutions.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A STEM degree or comparable technical education.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience working with automation projects.
  • Extensive sales experience in the technical industry.
  • English and Spanish language proficiency.
  • Availability to travel locally.
