About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team at MAHLE Smartbike Systems. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent MAHLE at customer sites for technical and commercial discussions.
  • Create and maintain a network for information and communication flow between customers and MAHLE.
  • Support project budgets, compare activities and results, and take corrective measures as needed.
  • Pursue new business opportunities by collecting information and generating sales opportunities.
  • Define product requirements with customers and manage product development activities within project teams.
  • Establish long-term relationships with customers and strengthen contact networks within their organizations.
  • Act as Project Manager for PDP-projects with normal complexity.
Requirements
  • BSc degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or similar senior engineer role.
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
  • Understanding of the bike and automotive industry, with e-mobility a plus.
  • English C1 and fluent Spanish.
  • Negotiation skills qualification.
  • Natural leadership skills to drive and deliver sales targets.
  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Comfortable with reporting updates.
  • Ability to establish collaborative relationships (internal and external).
