About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team at MAHLE Smartbike Systems. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for representing our company at dedicated customers, creating and maintaining a network for information and communication flow, and supporting new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent MAHLE at dedicated customers for technical and commercial discussions
  • Create and maintain a network for information and communication flow
  • Support and pursue new business opportunities
  • Define product requirements for specific programs and projects
  • Manage product development activities within project teams
  • Keep close contact and excellent collaboration with MSBS and project teams
  • Establish long-term relationships with customers and strengthen contact networks
  • Act as Project Manager for PDP-projects with normal complexity
Requirements
  • BSc degree in Engineering
  • Min 5 years proven work experience as a Sales Engineer or similar senior engineer role
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)
  • Understanding of the bike and automotive industry; e-mobility would be a plus
  • English C1
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Negotiation skills qualification
  • Natural leader of people to drive and deliver sales targets
  • Able to prioritize workload for self and direct reports in order to maximize profit
  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Comfortable with reporting updates
  • Easy to establish collaborative relationships (internal and external)
  • Availability to travel is needed
