Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team in Northern Spain (Vigo to Bilbao Area). As a vital contributor to the sustainable growth of our Marine Coatings business, you will be responsible for developing strong customer relationships, gaining industry knowledge, and driving innovation to enhance customers' sustainability and productivity.
- Develop durable customer relations across all levels of decision makers and influencers.
- Gain knowledge of the industry, our products, and our tools to become the go-to coating advisor for your customers.
- Identify, support, and drive innovation from and to the market that enhances our customers' sustainability and productivity.
- Sell our products and services to new and existing customers.
- Provide technical service support to the region as required.
- Ensure the achievement of monthly and annual sales and margin targets.
- Plan and lead impactful visits to customers.
- Prepare Key Account plans and maintain CRM and Sales pipeline.
- Resolve customer complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Grow your internal network to learn, get support, and accelerate the above.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven (technical) sales skills in a fast-paced Global Business to Business environment such as the maritime industry - preferably with >5 years of experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player.
- Ambition and drive to learn and develop towards potential next career moves.
- Proficiency in English and your local language.
