Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Search & Recommendation squad within our Customer Journey Tribe. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for mentoring and coaching engineers, cultivating a collaborative team environment, and driving delivery and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a collaborative team in delivering high-quality software that meets customer and seller needs
  • Collaborate with product groups and other tribes to align the team with company objectives and initiatives
  • Develop and mentor engineers through ongoing coaching and mentoring
  • Create a team environment that fosters open communication, feedback, and a culture of continuous improvement
  • Work in an agile environment, building, launching, monitoring, and supporting software sections
  • Identify and implement process improvements, best practices, and product enhancements
  • Support teams in increasing delivery proficiency and creating a learning environment

Requirements

  • Experience and passion for growing, developing, and guiding people
  • Openness to receiving and giving feedback in a safe workplace
  • Interest in working in an environment where leaders support their teams to do great work
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience working in agile development teams with knowledge of our tech stack
  • Past experience in finance or payment is a strong asset
