Job Summary

Mammoet is seeking a Sales Manager to strengthen its core team in Madrid and develop its Civil sector services and expertise. The ideal candidate will have a technical background in Civil Engineering and a commercial profile.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify, pursue, and negotiate Civil projects to develop Mammoet's strategy for the region.
* Establish new customers, maintain existing customer relationships, and participate in the sales process to establish long-term customer relationships and contribute to Mammoet's profitability.
* Develop the market by assessing and selecting data resources with information on markets, competitors, and identifying business opportunities and trends.
* Account management: initiate, maintain, and deepen relationships with (potential) customers, monitor the developments.
* Sales planning: develop and realize a sales plan which in line with the Mammoet strategy.
* Tendering: preparation based on inquiries of quotations that meet the qualitative, technical, and commercial requirements, analyzing the inquiry received on the basis of its technical and commercial aspects and responding with the best possible solution. Then processing this solution to the lowest possible risk.
* Negotiation: negotiate with internal and external parties in order to close the deal.
* Reporting: provide insights regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by means of periodical and ad-hoc reports and analyses in line with the reporting requirements.

Requirements

* Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
* English and Spanish fluent proficiency verbal and written
* Advanced Excel user
* Knowledge or work experience within the Heavy Lift sector is highly beneficial
* Understanding of logistics processes
* Social team player with a hands-on attitude
* Commercial and negotiation skills
* Keen, analytical, pragmatic, and a pro-active problem solver and good listener
* Able to work in an internationally environment, with different cultures
* Willingness to travel for short periods frequently
