Job Title: Assistant Front Office Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Front Office Manager to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences and providing exceptional service to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the Front Office team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Assist the Front Office Manager in fostering a positive and structured work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee the front desk team's daily operations, including check-in, check-out, and guest registration processes.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, responding promptly to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Ensure accurate and timely information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions is provided to guests.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure timely room readiness.
  • Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests, and resolving guest complaints.
  • Take and manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities, and provide information about ways to enhance their stay.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the local area to provide guests with information about attractions, restaurants, and services.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of Front Office experience, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.
  • Previous experience with pre-opening of a hotel is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Ability to work independently and partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork.
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and have a high-level attention to detail.
