About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Specialist to join our team at Desigual. As an Account Specialist, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with our customers, providing them with tailored business solutions and recommendations to drive their business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management
    • Manage customer orders and returns, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
    • Prepare and send invoices to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Collections
    • Ensure invoices are paid on due dates and follow up accordingly.
    • Claim overdue amounts as per company policy and maintain bad debt ratios under control.
  • Promotions and Marketing
    • Coordinate and execute marketing and promotional campaigns specific to key accounts.
    • Ensure Desigual's brand messaging is effectively communicated.
  • Inventory Management
    • Monitor inventory levels and ensure products are well-stocked and readily available for partners.
  • Data Analysis
    • Ensure customers' account information is accurate and updated.
    • Open line items are properly matched and account statements for reconciliation are sent to customers.
  • Problem Solving
    • Identify, monitor, and solve disputes arising from commercial, financial, or logistic collection processes between Desigual and its customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience in account management or a similar role, preferably within the fashion or retail industry.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • SAP Knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
