Smadex, a leading advertising technology company in Barcelona, is expanding its Sales Operations team. As a Marketing Operations Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining marketing operations and enhancing data-driven decision-making to maximize marketing ROI.

Your Mission

We are seeking a skilled Data Driven Marketing Specialist to join our Sales Operations team in Barcelona. In this role, you'll track leads generated from various marketing efforts, monitor the progression of leads through the sales funnel, and analyze marketing efforts to determine their contribution to revenue generation.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Marketing Leads Tracking and Management: Accurately track leads generated from various marketing efforts, including events, conferences, webinars, Smadex's website, and downloadable content.
  2. Opportunity Tracking & Pipeline Management: Monitor the progression of leads through the sales funnel and provide insights into conversion rates.
  3. Revenue Attribution: Analyze marketing efforts to determine their contribution to revenue generation and calculate ROI for each action.
  4. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve marketing workflows and streamline operations, leading to increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  5. Budget Allocation & Management: Assist in developing and managing the marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support strategic objectives based on marketing action analysis and ROI insights.
  6. Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to understand their needs and provide them with the necessary tools and information to close deals.
  7. Data Integrity: Conduct regular audits and validation processes to identify and rectify data discrepancies and ensure marketing data's accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all platforms.

Requirements:

  • Experience manipulating large datasets with Microsoft Excel (can perform complex functions).
  • Experience working with Salesforce data, Dashboards, and reports would be a big plus.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are a must.
  • Desire to contribute and improve the design of new and existing processes.
  • Self-motivated with a high desire for action and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team.
  • Willingness to learn, be mentored, and improve.
  • Nice to have: Student/Graduate of Bachelor or Master's degree in Business Administration or Data Science.
