About the Role:
The Data-Driven Marketing Strategist plays a pivotal role in the effective management of all Paid Marketing campaigns, reporting directly to the Head of PPC and working closely with the Marketing team. This position utilizes data to measure channel performance and determine the optimal allocation of marketing investment across competing opportunities.
Responsibilities:
This key role involves:
Managing day-to-day delivery of Paid Marketing campaigns (Google Search, Display, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads) including planning, strategy development, account setup, execution, and analysis.
Leading test and learn projects to inform best practices, bring new ideas, add channels, and test trends.
Identifying and scope out new platforms, tools, and systems to improve performance.
Tracking and optimizing campaigns ROI, managing budget, deadlines, and recommending modifications to ad spends and channel selection.
Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced professional with at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in SaaS companies, ideally B2B and lead generation. The ideal candidate will possess proven tactical and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data quickly, as well as hands-on knowledge of Google Analytics, Facebook Ad Manager, LinkedIn Ads, etc. Experience in running large-scale, performance-oriented PPC campaigns with a monthly budget of over €100K is highly valued. Additionally, good communication skills (verbal and written), the ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and be adaptable and focused are essential. Strong teamwork orientation and the ability to work with global teams across multiple time zones are also required.
Desired Skills:
Highly valued previous experience with programmatic advertising is desired but not required. A passion for continuous learning and growth, embracing the define-measure-analyze-improve-control approach, is also a plus. Based in Barcelona and fluent in English with one or more European languages (Spanish, German, French) is a must.
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of approximately €65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, and benefits that include a comprehensive health insurance package, flexible working hours, and access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
