About the Role

At Thyssenkrupp Elevator, we're committed to creating a better future for urban mobility. As a Global Project Manager - IT Infrastructure, you'll play a critical role in leading local efforts in global projects and managing region-specific projects in the area of IT Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage IT enablers, progress, issues, and risks, setting up and tracking project plans.
  • Closely collaborate with the business to plan and coordinate project activities according to their needs.
  • Manage positive relationships with stakeholders, actively listening, articulating, and clarifying needs.
  • Work together with a team of worldwide internal and external IT experts and consultants.
  • Establish Project Boards according to established project management principles.
  • Have regular status meetings with sponsors/clients.
  • Ensure Risks/Issues and Actions are well documented and followed-up after status meetings.
  • Ensure projects have proper commercial management of suppliers.
Requirements
  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or comparable qualification (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience managing Infrastructure projects; familiarity with cloud technologies and other relevant areas of IT Infrastructure.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a multinational company in the field of IT Project Management.
  • Appropriate technical and/or project or service management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL) are an advantage.
  • Experience managing global teams.
  • Results-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proven record of planning and delivering complex projects.
  • Highly self-motivated, hands-on, can-do attitude, self-confident, courageous, honest, and customer-focused.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English language skills.
