Commissioning Engineer for Battery Storage and Microgrid Systems

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Hitachi Energy Spain, S.A.U. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing site activities for Battery Storage (BESS) and Microgrid projects, working in coordination with the project team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execution of site activities for BESS and Microgrid projects, including installation, pre-commissioning, and power-on, commissioning
- Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) rules and regulations
- Implementing improvements in the commissioning process
- Collaborating with the project team to achieve project goals
Requirements:
- Proven experience with power systems commissioning, including BESS projects and solar plants
- Proven experience with commissioning of electrical LV-MV panels, inverters, batteries, switchgears, with a minimum of 3 years of experience
- Good experience with PLC automation commissioning and troubleshooting
- Fluency in both spoken and written English
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools
- Flexibility to travel worldwide
