Commissioning Engineer for Energy Storage and Grid Systems

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Hitachi Automotive Systems Americas, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing site activities for Battery Energy Storage and Microgrid projects, working closely with our project team.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute commissioning activities for Battery Energy Storage and Microgrid projects, including installation, pre-commissioning, and power-on.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and company norms.
- Identify and implement improvements in the commissioning process.
- Collaborate with the project team to achieve project goals.
- Develop and maintain technical knowledge of power systems, electrical panels, inverters, batteries, and switchgears.
Requirements
- Proven experience in power systems commissioning, including Battery Energy Storage and Microgrid projects.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commissioning electrical LV-MV panels, inverters, batteries, and switchgears.
- Good experience with PLC automation commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools.
- Ability to travel worldwide.
