Commissioning Engineer for Energy Storage and Grid Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our Grid Automation Business Unit at Hitachi Energy Spain, S.A.U.
Key Responsibilities- Execute site activities for Battery Storage (BESS) and Microgrid projects, working in coordination with the project team.
- Follow up on Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) rules as per Country and Company norms.
- Proactively implement improvements in the commissioning process.
- Live by the values of safety and integrity.
- Be part of a team and act as a team player.
- Proven experience with power systems commissioning, including BESS projects and Solar plants.
- Proven experience with commissioning of electrical LV-MV panels, Inverters, batteries, switchgears, with a minimum of 3 years of experience required.
- Good experience of PLC automation commissioning is considered a plus.
- Good experience with troubleshooting.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English is required.
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools.
- Flexibility to travel worldwide is required.
