Commissioning Engineer for Energy Storage and Microgrid Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Hitachi Energy Spain, S.A.U. as part of our Grid Automation Business Unit. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for executing site activities for Battery Energy Storage (BESS) and Microgrid projects, working in close coordination with the project team.
Key Responsibilities- Execute site activities for BESS and Microgrid projects, including installation, pre-commissioning, and power-on, commissioning.
- Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) rules and regulations.
- Identify and implement improvements in the commissioning process.
- Collaborate with the project team to achieve project goals.
- Proven experience in power systems commissioning, specifically with BESS projects and solar plants.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commissioning electrical LV-MV panels, inverters, batteries, switchgears.
- Good experience with PLC automation commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English.
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools.
- Flexibility to travel worldwide.
