Commissioning Engineer for Energy Storage and Microgrid Systems

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Hitachi Automotive Systems Americas, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing site activities for Battery Energy Storage (BESS) and Microgrid projects, working in coordination with the project team.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute site activities for BESS and Microgrid projects, including installation, pre-commissioning, and power-on, commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) rules and regulations.
- Proactively identify and implement improvements in the commissioning process.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in power systems commissioning, including BESS projects and solar plants.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commissioning electrical LV-MV panels, inverters, batteries, switchgears.
- Good experience with PLC automation commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English.
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools.
- Flexibility to travel worldwide.
