Commercial Project Manager - Finance Specialist

About the Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Project Manager - Finance Specialist to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our Grid Technologies organization, you will play a critical role in providing finance support and coordination to our commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Commercial Project Management
  • Creation and management of projects/invoicing
  • Cost control and business analysis
  • Preparation of offers, calculation of prices, and review of contracts
Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Project Cost and Free Cash Flow Forecasting
  • Maintain good quality of forecasting accuracy
Accounting and Compliance
  • Ensure accurate balance Sheet Accounting
  • Facilitate prompt invoicing to the customer
  • Actively manage accounts receivables and ensure collections arrive on time
  • Actively supervise guarantees and ensure they are collected upon expiry for credit limit management
Reporting and Analysis
  • Reporting and presentation of various business critical metrics as and when required
  • Ensures the accuracy of project books and records, including recording of such in the appropriate systems (SAP) – ensures compliance with Siemens-FRG plus the local GAAP requirements

Requirements

  1. Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
Skills and Experience
  • Good knowledge about SAP & MS Office
  • Knowledge in IFRS accounting standards
  • Team worker and communication skills
  • Proactive & dynamic
  • Strong commercial demeanor
  • Self-starting and assertive
  • Spanish and English speaking; knowledge of German will be considered
