Drive Sales Efficiency and Process Improvement

Expedia Group is seeking a Sales Operations Manager - Commercial Strategy to drive the effectiveness and efficiency of our sales teams. As a key member of our global sales operations team, you will collaborate closely with various functions to review, improve, and implement our sales processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the sales process component of the Sales Blueprint by reviewing the sales cycle and process, establishing areas for improvement, and working closely with stakeholders to enable changes.
  • Streamline the sales process by proposing new processes, prioritizing automation, and sharing best practices.
  • Flag problem areas and recommend next steps to improve sales team efficiency.
  • Analyze data and use key metrics to measure effectiveness and uncover areas for improvement.
  • Drive adoption and compliance of the Sales Blueprint concepts.
  • Implement a regular cycle of updating the Sales Blueprint based on business changes, insights, and feedback.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in sales operations and process improvement in a B2B organization and/or travel industry.
  • Robust understanding of sales processes and how to enable and add value to the sales cycle.
  • Ability to think like a salesperson and understand the B2B sales process and opportunities and challenges.
  • Strong ability to simplify complex operations and data and effectively communicate this to leaders.
  • Knowledge of project planning, defining timeframe, and prioritizing tasks to achieve project milestones.
