About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in helping us build the largest and most innovative Business-to-Business (B2B) marketplace in the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to extract business requirements and propose strategic and tactical levers for developing the B2B marketplace.
  • Analyze and solve complex business problems, identifying areas of opportunity and presenting written business recommendations to shape the future of Amazon Business.
  • Develop end-to-end self-service BI solutions to support decision-making for key stakeholders in the EU and worldwide.
  • Train business stakeholders to use BI tools and become autonomous in data analysis.
  • Research and implement novel approaches to enhance technical and business processes, improving customer and stakeholder experience.
  • Develop and roll out mathematical models and algorithms to understand customer and vendor behavior and needs.
Requirements
  • Experience programming to extract, transform, and clean large data sets.
  • Experience with design of experiments, statistical analysis, and AWS technologies.
  • Scripting skills for automation (e.g., Python) and advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience with information retrieval, data science, machine learning, and data mining.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs.
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership.
