As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing data-driven solutions to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to extract business requirements and propose strategic solutions
  • Analyzing and solving complex business problems, with a focus on root cause analysis and broader context understanding
  • Developing and executing analyses to uncover areas of opportunity, and presenting written business recommendations to shape the future of Amazon Business
  • Designing and implementing end-to-end self-service BI solutions to support decision-making for key stakeholders
  • Training business stakeholders to use BI tools and become autonomous in data analysis

Requirements include:

  • Experience with programming, data extraction, transformation, and cleaning
  • Knowledge of AWS technologies and scripting for automation
  • Experience with data science, machine learning, and data mining
  • Ability to work directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
