About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Business Intelligence team, you will play a critical role in helping us optimize our business operations and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to extract business requirements and propose strategic solutions for our B2B marketplace.
  • Analyze complex business problems and develop data-driven recommendations to drive business outcomes.
  • Design and implement end-to-end self-service BI solutions to support decision-making for key stakeholders.
  • Train business stakeholders to use BI tools and empower them to be autonomous in data analysis.
  • Research and implement innovative approaches to enhance technical and business processes, improving customer and stakeholder experiences.
Requirements
  • Experience programming to extract, transform, and clean large data sets.
  • Strong understanding of design of experiments, statistical analysis, and AWS technologies.
  • Proficiency in scripting for automation (e.g., Python) and advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
  • Strong communication skills to translate between data and business needs.
