About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Business Intelligence team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to extract business requirements and propose strategic and tactical levers for developing the B2B marketplace.
  • Analyze and solve complex business problems, identifying opportunities for improvement and presenting written business recommendations.
  • Develop end-to-end self-service BI solutions to support decision making for key stakeholders in the EU and WW.
  • Train business stakeholders to use BI tools and be autonomous in data analysis.
  • Research and implement novel approaches to enhance technical and business processes, improving customer and stakeholder experience.
Requirements
  • Experience programming to extract, transform, and clean large data sets.
  • Experience with design of experiments, statistical analysis, and AWS technologies.
  • Scripting skills for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience with data science, machine learning, and data mining.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership.
