Job Description

Amazon Business is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our B2B marketplace team, you will be responsible for designing and developing end-to-end self-service BI solutions to support decision making for our key stakeholders in the EU and WW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multiple teams across various functional areas and geographies to extract business requirements and propose strategic and tactical levers for developing the B2B marketplace.
  • Analyze and solve business problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context.
  • Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations that will shape the future of Amazon Business.
  • Develop and roll out mathematical models and algorithms to understand customer and vendor behavior and needs.
  • Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Requirements:

  • Experience programming to extract, transform, and clean large data sets.
  • Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results.
  • Experience with AWS technologies.
  • Experience in scripting for automation and advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
