Senior Payroll Coordinator

UNIQLO is a leading global apparel retailer seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Coordinator to join our HR team in Barcelona, Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our circa 500 combined store and head office colleagues in Spain.
Key Responsibilities:- Payroll Management: Establish and communicate the payroll yearly and monthly calendar, ensuring smooth and correct flow of payroll data from stores.
- Payroll Process Improvement: Work closely with our external payroll vendor to ensure correctness and security of the whole payroll production, executing controls for payroll files throughout the payroll cycle.
- HRIS Management: Update and implement any changes to the time and attendance system, ensuring correct application of the time and attendance processes are followed by stores.
- HR Administration: Review and improve personnel administrative processes and tools in close collaboration with HR department and store operations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in payroll, human resource management, or finance.
- 5-7 years of experience in payroll, personnel administration, and/or HRIS, payroll process improvement implementation, HR systems, and data management.
- Experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service sectors would be an advantage.
- Fluent in English at a business level.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with high level of accuracy, detail-oriented with good planning and organization skills.
