Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll and HRIS systems, while supporting the day-to-day tasks of the People & Culture team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Management
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including settlement, medical leaves, and month-end information.
    • Coordinate with our outsource payroll company to ensure seamless execution of payroll tasks.
  • HRIS Administration
    • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files and records for all employees.
    • Ensure compliance with European and global labor laws and regulations.
  • Team Support
    • Provide administrative support to the People & Culture team, including drafting letters and coordinating with external companies.
    • Assist with recruitment strategies to attract top talent and build a strong talent pool.
  • Culture and Compliance
    • Embed the SLS values and promote a fair, safe, and inclusive work environment.
    • Lead initiatives to engage and empower the team, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education
    • University degree with emphasis in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Experience
    • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Skills
    • Proven team leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Knowledge of Spanish labor law and European labor regulations.
