Senior Payroll Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Coordinator to join our HR team at FAST RETAILING CO. in Barcelona, Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely delivery of payroll processes for our circa 500 combined store and head office colleagues in Spain.
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Management
- Establish and communicate the payroll yearly and monthly calendar.
- Implement and maintain appropriate processes and reporting tools to ensure smooth and correct flow of payroll data from stores.
- Collaborate with our external payroll vendor to ensure correctness and security of the whole payroll production.
- Execute controls for payroll files throughout the payroll cycle.
- Ensure accurate application of employee benefits, such as life insurance, health insurance, and other payroll-related benefits.
- Provide guidance to stores on payroll-related matters.
- Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate with other departments, including EU payroll and accounting.
- Update and implement changes to the time and attendance system.
- Ensure correct application of time and attendance processes by stores.
- Implement data accuracy improvements and maintenance action plans.
- Provide guidance to managers on data management operations.
- Conduct monthly data audits and take corrective actions.
- Collaborate with EU HRIS teams to monitor and suggest improvements and automations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest legal legislation and ensure correct implementation of changes within HRIS systems.
- Review and improve personnel administrative processes and tools in collaboration with the HR department and store operations.
- Compile and distribute reports to stores on legal, social, personnel, and HR KPIs.
- Manage payment of HR vendors through our internal system COUPA.
