Account Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our team at Expedia Group. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for handling relationships with our medium-sized partners in the Southern Europe region.

Your primary focus will be on servicing existing accounts, identifying opportunities for growth, and developing mutually beneficial deals for both Expedia and our partners.

You will work closely with our business development team to ensure a smooth account transition process and drive strong post-launch results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a portfolio of around 15 partners in the Southern Europe region
  • Implement business strategies to position Expedia as a partner of choice
  • Accurately diagnose partner business needs and collaborate with other teams to address them
  • Renegotiate and renew contracts with partners to develop mutually beneficial deals
  • Identify best practices and share them with affiliate partners
  • Form strong business relationships with partners remotely and occasionally face-to-face

Requirements:

  • Highly fluent in English, Spanish, and an additional European language (French and/or Italian)
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Minimum 3 years of B2B Account Management experience in the Travel industry
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build long-term strategic relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proven experience working with sales incentives and familiarity with marketing initiatives (SEO, SEM) and analytics
  • Skilled in navigating complex organizational structures and engaging board-level stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
