The Sircle Collection is a renowned hospitality group, and as the Senior Sous Chef at our Sir Victor Hotel in Barcelona, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our discerning guests.
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in menu planning and preparation, ensuring dishes are creative, visually appealing, and meet our high standards.
- Lead a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure seamless service and excellent food quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and direct food preparation, ensuring efficient operations and maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef in a similar establishment.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in both Spanish and English.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen management, including scheduling, inventory control, and staff development.
