About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Amazon Spain Fulfillment, S.L.U. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, driving improvements in safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the health and safety function at the Fulfillment Centre, ensuring delivery of objectives and supervising staff.
  • Engage in collaborative health and safety projects across all operations sites, providing authoritative advice and guidance to stakeholders.
  • Review and audit health and safety management arrangements, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Develop strategies to reduce health and safety risks, recommending adaptations to plant, machinery, and processes.
  • Ensure robust reporting regimes are in place for H&S statistics, providing management information and statistics to stakeholders.
  • Support business change through effective change management processes, driving behavioural culture change across the operation.
  • Implement and review company global safety policies, ensuring compliance with local legislative requirements.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in a relevant field, such as Occupational Health and Safety, and relevant experience managing a team. You should have advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and the local language, as well as experience complying with local Health and Safety legislation.

Preferred qualifications include experience with Lean, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies, as well as chartered membership of a Human Resources industry body.
