About the Role

At Amazon Spain Fulfillment, S.L.U., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving improvements in health and safety standards across our Fulfillment Centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the health and safety function at the Fulfillment Centre, including supervision of staff to ensure delivery of objectives.
  • Proactively engage in collaborative health and safety projects across all operations sites.
  • Provide authoritative advice and guidance on health and safety matters to all stakeholders within designated area of responsibility.
  • Review and audit arrangements for health and safety management and continuously improve these arrangements where appropriate.
  • Provide strategies to plan and organise work systems to reduce health and safety risks and recommend suitable adaptations to plant, machinery and processes.
  • Ensure robust reporting regimes are in place for H&S statistics.
  • Provide management information and statistics related to your area of responsibility.
  • Support business change through effective change management processes within the fast-paced FC environment.
  • Drive behavioural culture change programme across a large, complex, multi-shift operation.
  • Implement and review of company global safety policies ensuring that local legislative requirements are also met.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Manager who can lead our team in driving improvements in health and safety standards. You will have a strong background in health and safety management, with experience in managing a team and complying with local health and safety legislation. You will also have advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and the local language.
