About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Amazon Spain Fulfillment, S.L.U. as a Military Health and Safety Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the health and safety function at the Fulfillment Centre, including supervision of staff to ensure delivery of objectives.
  • Proactively engage in collaborative health and safety projects across all operations sites.
  • Provide authoritative advice and guidance on health & safety matters to all stakeholders within designated area of responsibility.
  • Review and audit arrangements for health & safety management and continuously improve these arrangements where appropriate.
  • Provide strategies to plan and organise work systems to reduce health & safety risks and recommend suitable adaptations to plant, machinery and processes.
  • Ensure robust reporting regimes are in place for H&S statistics.
  • Provide management information and statistics related to your area of responsibility.
  • Support business change through effective change management processes within the fast-paced FC environment.
  • Drive behavioural culture change programme across a large, complex, multi-shift operation.
  • Implement and review of company global safety policies ensuring that local legislative requirements are also met.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in health and safety management. You will have a degree in a relevant field and a qualification in Técnico Superior en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales. You will also have relevant experience managing a team and complying with local Health and Safety legislation.

As a successful candidate, you will have advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and the local language. You will also have experience with Lean, 5S and Kaizen methodologies, and qualifications or experience in the field of sustainability.
