The Role

We are seeking a talented Strategic Sales Account Manager to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing existing accounts of Tier 1 and Tier 2 financial institutions, driving revenue growth through up-selling and cross-selling, and implementing sales strategies set by management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the sales cycle from initial contact to deal closure, maintaining strong client relationships and participating in market analysis and relationship building with senior management and key opinion leaders in the banking and financial services sectors.
  • Articulate and demonstrate Temenos solutions through strategic value-based selling, building strong business cases, and developing return-on-investment analysis to drive deals from inception to close.
  • Work with customer stakeholders to understand their bank's strategy, challenges, and opportunities, and articulate how Temenos can help them achieve their objectives.
  • Create value by partnering with technical and non-technical executives to support their transformation journey, showcasing the commercial and technology value of our product portfolio.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurately track quarterly forecasts and revenue.
  • Balance quarterly results while keeping a clear line of sight on strategic and long-term revenue opportunities.
  • Create and execute account plans addressing tactical and strategic opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of end-to-end sales cycles and ensure the highest level of customer advocacy.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of the financial services industry, including trends, challenges, and innovations.
  • Proven track record of success in selling complex SaaS software solutions, ideally core banking, to the financial services sector.
  • Consultative sales approach enabling listening to and understanding customer needs.
