About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Reporting and Analytics team within Group Investment Management. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data and financial systems, defining IT specifications, and implementing reporting front-end solutions for our global end-user base.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop analytical, regulatory, and operational reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools such as MS Power BI or similar.
- Analyze reporting & analytics business requirements and translate into functional and technical solution specifications.
- Lead and support initiatives and projects related to new or existing business intelligence solutions.
- Perform impact analysis of application holding an end-to-end view of the system.
- Continuous improvement of existing reporting processes, services, and infrastructure.
- Provide end-user support/training for global reporting needs.
- Ensure compliance, governance, and data quality.
- Stakeholder management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
- 3+ years of proven experience as a business analyst, specifically in the field of business intelligence.
- Advanced skills for data analytics and data modeling with reporting front-end tools (MS Power BI or similar).
- Experience with cloud solutions (Databricks, Azure, AWS or similar).
- Strong coding skills (preferably SQL, Python, Spark).
- Nice to have SAP BW technical knowledge.
- Experience with data engineering and analysis.
- Strong Business Analyst skills (e.g., analytical skills, requirement engineering, design thinking, agile methodologies).
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Good presentation skills.
- Good self-management skills and stress resilience.
- Highly organized with good attention to detail.
- Familiarity ERP System SAP FAM/TRM or FICO is a plus.
- Relevant working experience in (insurance) asset management is a plus.
- Understanding of financial products, financial markets as well as the main accounting principles (IFRS, GAAPs) is a plus.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
