Job Summary

The Strategic Enterprise Architect will represent the IT architectural authority for a defined architectural scope in Hitachi Energy, aligning IT solutions/services to HE Business and to IT Strategy. This role will develop, drive, document, and communicate the global IT Enterprise Architecture, providing major contributions to the IT Strategy for relevant domains and related IT solutions and IT services portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and functionally lead the relevant IT Enterprise Architects
• Develop and communicate the IT architecture and strategy for a defined architecture scope
• Collaborate with Business, Enterprise Architects, and IT Stakeholders to develop the lifecycle roadmap for key IT technology solutions
• Manage and monitor architecture governance
• Build up and coordinate activities of the Hitachi Energy Enterprise Architecture Community of Practice

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience within IT relevant domains
• Proven experience in Enterprise Architecture
• Experience to translate business requirements into IT capabilities and solutions
• Experience in global project planning and execution as well as economic aspects of system management and life cycle
• Experience in leading IT people, who do not report directly
• Experience in objectively evaluating solutions and making recommendations

Preferred Knowledge and Experience

• Enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
• Knowledge of ITIL, L6S
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with business and IT stakeholders, including senior management
