POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing assigned power systems projects, serving as the primary liaison for clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery aligned with established performance metrics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the execution and management of projects concerning timelines, budgets, quality, information flow, and organizational structure.
  • Engage in contract analysis of customer purchase orders and sales agreements, addressing any discrepancies in collaboration with the Sales Manager and Field Application Engineer.
  • Act as the main point of contact during the execution phase for all stakeholders including customers, suppliers, sales, service, and finance.
  • Develop and monitor project plans and budgets effectively.
  • Manage procurement and outsourcing of all project-related products, components, and services, including installation and commissioning.
  • Initiate, organize, and lead project meetings (both internal and on-site) to track project progress.
  • Conduct project evaluations and provide periodic updates on progress and outcomes.
  • Implement strategies to enhance Variable Margin.
  • Initiate corrective measures to meet project objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Leverage project opportunities for growth.
  • Oversee the document approval process with clients.
  • Manage project documentation ensuring all customer approvals are secured.
  • Coordinate the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT).
  • Ensure compliance with shipping requirements.
  • Facilitate timely and accurate invoicing in accordance with the agreed project scope.
  • Monitor and address deviations from contractual agreements regarding timelines, project scope, quality, costs, and information flow.
  • Provide insights during the quotation phase as needed (e.g., timelines, technical feasibility, cost assessments).
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in an international sales and project management setting.
  • PMP certification is essential.
  • Basic knowledge of commercial and contract law.
  • Proficient in computer applications, preferably SAP.
  • Fluent in English (C1 level).
