Senior Category Manager, Amazon Global Selling

About the Role
Amazon is seeking a highly experienced Senior Category Manager to join our Global Selling team within Amazon Services. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for formulating a business strategy for a set of categories, identifying and driving key flywheel inputs for the business, and working with key stakeholders to influence product and policy roadmap. This role requires a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and ecommerce challenges, as well as superior communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate a long-term roadmap for the categories you are responsible for.
- Engage with internal and external customers/teams to improve products and business processes.
- Identify specific prospects/partners to approach, communicate the specific value proposition for their business and use case, and establish long-term, successful partnerships.
- Work closely with senior executives at interested sellers to successfully negotiate deals and help in on-boarding.
- Review and monitor performance and sales of key partners to manage their performance.
Requirements
- 6+ years of sales experience.
- 8+ years of digital sales, account management, business development, or partner management experience.
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers.
- Experience and understanding of the retail and wholesale landscape in India and exposure to prior interactions with sellers and distributors.
- Experience managing and growing complex business relationships at scale.
- Experience personally closing large complex deals end-to-end.
